About Us

The Australian branch of Michael Bailey Associates started life as Apex Resource Solutions, based in Sydney. Following a challenging period, we were acquired by the Michael Bailey Group in 2012 and have since gone from strength to strength. We focus on supplying permanent, contract and project based IT recruitment solutions to clients throughout Australia.

Senior Management

Phil Hack, Director, has over 17 years of experience in the recruitment industry, both in Australia and overseas, and has been at Apex Resource Solutions/Michael Bailey Associates Australia since 2009.

With a wealth of knowledge gathered via broad client and industry experience, coupled with a genuine passion for technology, Phil is very hands on, acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Phil has successfully created a positive, supportive culture, with the client at the centre. Teams are required to focus on their clients’ needs, developing a thorough understanding of their businesses. And there are plenty of team activities and social events as well.

It’s a mix that works – producing a positive office environment with a determined, motivated and ultimately successful group of dedicated recruiters.

Community sponsorships

For xxx years, our Sydney office has been supporting the Children’s Hospital, Westmead.

We run a number of fundraising events through the year for our staff, clients and candidates, and all proceeds from these go to the hospital. So far, we have raised over $xxxxxxx for the charity, and we hope to add to that this year, with more events in the pipeline.

The Children’s Hospital was chosen as our charity in 201? after an internal selection process.

Staff were impressed by the dedication of the hospital team, and felt that our contribution would have a big impact of the lives of children living right here in Sydney.
