Azure PKI Consultant (m/f/d)


We are currently looking for an Azure consultant (m/f/d) with PKI experience for our energy client

Location: remote

The project has the aim to remove the PKI token (used for singing, authentication and encryption). In order to achieve this the project needs to provide clear guidance to stakeholders and proper communication to end-users. As part of the replacement we need to manage technical dependencies, advertise existing replacing technologies and expand the capabilities for Adobe Sign. The project will support stakeholders to migrate their dependencies and solve them. Alongside with that we will develop and implement a long term archiving solution in order to stay compliant with regulatory requirements. To fulfill some remaining requirements we will also implement a small scale new PKI modern solution. Alongside the project implementation we will also continue to deliver smaller improvements to the PKI landscape until we can switch it off. The initiative is a multiyear project spanning from 2021 to 2023.

Tasks (independent delivery):
• Creation of S/MIME security concept and architecture for the new PKI SMIME solution, based on
the approved standards (Encryption Standard, CP/CPS policy and Data Protection
policies). Presentation of the results to client for a sign off. Technical implementation and product
will be provided by the vendor. Implementing processes and integrating them into the clients
• Planning, Installing and configuring Certificate management PKI Components based on the
approved standards.
• Creating and realizing automation for TLS/SSL (Internal/External) and Azure Key Vault with ACME
with pre-selected by Certificate Authority DigiCert
• Analyzing existing PKI infrastructure and consultation for improvements based on standards
provided by client in advance.
• Establishing a new governance model for Azure Key Vault in the client environment based on
information coming from the Cloud Security team, collection of use cases and creation of
documentation for it. Approved then by the SO and based on the new model a new service will
be established by the SO, based on the above mentioned topics. Presentation of the Use cases
to the SO at the client (responsible Hiring manager) for a sign off.
• Keeping the existing PKI SNOW articles up to date and creation of new documentation related to changes in the PKI Service.

- Must have = Microsoft Azure knowledge
- Good understanding of PKI Nice to have = Experience with
key migration and key management
