About the Role:
As a Business Analyst within the Oil & Gas industry's Sustainability division, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's commitment to environmental and social responsibility. Your responsibilities will include analyzing data, identifying opportunities for sustainable practices, and contributing to projects that align with our sustainability goals.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the Oil & Gas or energy sector.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of sustainability principles, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving ability and the capability to translate business needs into sustainable solutions.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB) is a plus.
- Ability to stay updated with emerging sustainability trends and technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret sustainability-related data, including environmental impact assessments, energy consumption, and emissions data.
- Sustainability Strategy: Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's sustainability strategy, aligning it with industry standards and best practices.
- Reporting: Prepare sustainability reports for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring compliance with reporting frameworks and regulations.
- Project Evaluation: Assess the environmental and social impact of proposed projects and initiatives, providing insights into their alignment with sustainability goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with sustainability requirements and standards.
- Sustainability Metrics: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of sustainability initiatives and track progress over time.
- Sustainability Innovation: Identify emerging technologies and practices that can enhance the company's sustainability efforts and recommend their adoption.
