Business Intelligence Analyst

Role Overview: As a Business Intelligence Analyst at our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our commitment to sustainability is upheld through meticulous compliance with emerging regulations and standards. Your primary focus will be on driving outputs that align with sustainability goals, while navigating complex initiatives such as the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and the EU Taxonomy framework.

Responsibilities:

• Sustainability Compliance Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the CSRD, CBAM, and EU Taxonomy requirements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting and adherence.
• Data Collection and Analysis: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect, process, and analyze data related to sustainability metrics, carbon emissions, and financial impacts.
• Output-Oriented Approach: Translate complex compliance data into clear and actionable insights, driving measurable outcomes that contribute to our sustainability objectives.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare comprehensive reports, dashboards, and documentation to facilitate decision-making processes and internal/external reporting.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to foster alignment on sustainability strategies, compliance goals, and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or sustainability compliance.
• Familiarity with the CSRD, CBAM, and EU Taxonomy regulations and their implications for businesses.
• Strong analytical skills, proficiency in data visualization tools, and experience with sustainability reporting frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines.
