Change Manager (m/f/d)

Vol: ca.12hrs/week
Location: Dusseldorf 2x/month (incl. overnight stay) for trainings+remote

There have been numerous change programs and transformations. These programs had various scale and different objectives,:
1. they impacted people, systems and processes, and they had to ensure that the results of the changes were sustainable in the longer term
2. they required project and change management capabilities, that were often not found in the teams and functions that had originally identified the need for change and designed the target picture

This initiative was created by CFO, CCO and COO to ensure that in the near future the client will drive change more consistently and efficiently.

? portfolio approach to change, incl. enterprise change funnel aligned to corporate strategy. Prioritization of resource allocation of most critical change programs
?More efficient mobilisation and demobilisation of resources for change projects
? a highly consistent quality of project work and consistent application of PM, process management, improvement methodologies and change management standards
? consistent skill pool management (PM /change mgmt)
? lessons learnt from project/change programs
? SPOC for all businesses and functions needing help for change

Tasks (performed independently):
? Provide technical consultancy to PM to finalise the project structure and the project plan based on PM best practices and the results of the early phases, adjusted by agile way for the next ones
? Conduct workshops with Sr stakeholders. Workshops:F2F and hybrid (i.e.: virtual) approx. every 2 weeks. Prepare the workshop materials.
Workshops content:
? Map the existing project and change capabilities
? Define the opportunity for improvement
? Create options for the future, analyse them in terms of pros and cons
? debrief workshops and document the outcomes for the PM, the Leaders, Board of Management
? Give recommendations on organization design to seize the opportunities identified in the first workshops. Present the recommendations to the PM and leaders
? collect individual Feedback from Sr leaders to seek input on the different organisation design option
? prepare Board paper incl. final recommendation based on the output of the workshops, plus summary for the Board.Sign off.
? prepare implementation plans for the selected reorganisation option

-work with the PM to finalise the project structure and the project plan

-formulate expert recommendations on organization design
-engage Sr leaders individually to seek input and feedback con the different organisation design
-prepare Board paper incl. the final recommendation
