Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevSecOps Engineer with a specialized focus on Azure Cloud Security to join our client’s sec team. In this role, you will play an important role in ensuring the security of our cloud infrastructure, applications, and services by collaborating closely with development, operations, and security teams. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of security posture, threat modeling, application security management, and have hands-on experience implementing security controls in Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

Azure Cloud Security Implementation:

• Design, implement, and maintain security controls within the Azure cloud environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security into the development and deployment processes.

Technical Communication and Collaboration:

• Engage with developers to discuss technical aspects of security controls, including settings, configurations, and best practices.
• Provide guidance on secure coding practices and assist in remediation of security vulnerabilities.

Proactive Communication:

• Actively communicate security-related updates, challenges, and solutions to relevant stakeholders.
• Proactively identify and address potential security issues before they escalate.

Stakeholder Management:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment with security goals and objectives.
• Foster strong relationships with teams across the organization to promote a culture of security awareness.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a DevSecOps Engineer with a focus on Azure Cloud Security.
• Azure architect level certifications.
• In-depth knowledge of technical implementation of security controls in Azure.
• Strong understanding of security best practices, threat modeling, and application security.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience in proactively addressing security concerns and fostering a security-conscious culture.
