Domain Architect - Roles & Mandates

For one of the main banking clients based in Amsterdam we are looking for a Domain Architect to carry out the architecture for application Solutions.

| Responsibilities |
In this role, you’ll be responsible for shaping and managing architectural designs for specific applications, ensuring they meet business needs and are aligned with overall strategy. You’ll provide support to solution architects and engineers, guiding them through the implementation process and tracking any temporary adjustments that might be necessary.
This position involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including business partners, other architects, IT teams, and managers, to ensure the application environment evolves towards the desired future state.
You’ll be working with a mix of older systems and newer global applications, helping to gradually transition these to a more streamlined and efficient landscape. Success in this role requires strong analytical abilities, organizational skills, and clear communication.

| Requirements |
In this role, you'll rely on your ability to recognize patterns to determine the appropriate actions and apply established guidelines to carry them out. You will conduct in-depth analyses, drawing connections between ongoing developments and the organization's overall strategy and future goals.
Part of your responsibilities will include anticipating risks, security, and reliability needs for your projects, ensuring these considerations are integrated into the design and architectural principles within your area of focus.
Familiarity with agile development methodologies is highly desirable for this position.
