EMEA Trade Finance Analyst

Summary

The Trade Finance Analyst will cover a maternity leave from mid-October to mid-April and be based in Geneva, working in the Treasury department.

Main Responsibilities

Along with the below-listed responsibilities, the employee should conduct any other business related to the function as required by their supervisor.

The Trade Finance Analyst will be assisting the Trade Finance Manager and the Trade Finance Specialist with the following duties:

Vanilla Bank Products: address needs from platforms (Business Units) and finds Banking capacity at the best financial conditions for the following products:

LC / SBLCs / Bank Guarantees / Bid-Perf Bonds, Import and Export.

Export Avalized Draft discounting.

Global quarterly reporting of export vanilla trades (by region, platform, and bank).

The candidate, depending on their profile, may also be involved from time to time in other activities like:

Structured Bank/Insurance Products (third party prepayments/ receivable discounting / credit or performance insurance coverage / etc);

Unique Countries Financing transactions: address financial needs from platforms (cash services/ FX hedges/financing) in strict compliance with Internal rules (Compliance/ Risk department) and choose the appropriate Banking partners.

Experiences

Two years in an equivalent role or a banking environment

Skills

Logical, analytical and attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

A quick learner.

An energetic and highly motivated self-starter.

Personal traits include leadership, team player, deadline orientated, innovation, hardworking, enthusiasm and determination.

Required Languages

English (Fluent)

Required Education

University degree in Finance/economics or similar or Business School
