Are you passionate about Corporate Sustainability and ESG risk management? Do you have a strong background in audit, risk, or compliance and want to make a real impact? A global company is looking for an Internal Audit Manager to join their team in Amstelveen, the Netherlands.

About the Role:
As an Internal Audit Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring effective risk management and internal controls, with a specific focus on ESG and corporate sustainability. You will contribute to audit planning, execution, and reporting, while also identifying best practices and process improvements.

This role offers international exposure, with 20-30% travel and the opportunity for global career mobility.


What You’ll Do:
?? Audit & Risk Assessment – Identify key risks, particularly in corporate sustainability, and assess their impact on business operations
?? Audit Execution – Plan and conduct audits and management support assignments, ensuring risks and controls are properly assessed
?? Sustainability & ESG Advisory – Provide expertise on sustainability risks, ESG reporting, and regulatory compliance
?? Data Analytics & Insights – Analyze large data sets, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations
?? Stakeholder Engagement – Collaborate with senior management and key stakeholders to improve processes and strengthen internal controls
?? Reporting & Communication – Draft clear, concise audit reports with recommendations, ensuring alignment with business objectives
?? Continuous Improvement – Drive enhancements in internal audit processes, with a focus on ESG reporting, risk mitigation, and efficiency
?? Collaboration & Best Practices – Share knowledge across teams, identify best practices, and contribute to the organization’s sustainability strategy

What We’re Looking For:
? 5+ years of experience in audit, risk, compliance, or sustainability reporting
? Background in professional services, external audit, or internal control roles (Consumer Goods experience is a plus)
? Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
? Passion for ESG and corporate sustainability – experience with CO? emissions computation is a plus
? Fluent in English; additional languages are an advantage
? Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with corporate sustainability reporting systems is a plus
