IT Manager, The Netherlands.

We are seeking for an experienced IT Manager to join one of our clients. Working closely with the wider IT team this new role will have responsibility for the delivery and management of IT services on the ground in the Netherlands.

Role details:

  • Technically resolves end users Incidents and fulfils Service Requests, across all supported IT devices in accordance with agreed service levels.
  • Undertakes all relevant technical support and maintenance tasks/activities as required by Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Request Management, Risk Management and IT projects.
  • Has a broad range of technical support skills from WAN to end user computing and mobile devices.
  • Where technical responsibilities dictate, liaise with other internal support teams, internal senior management and suppliers in the day to day management of Incidents and Service Requests. And where appropriate initiates the escalation process for Major Incidents.
  • Identifies key issues and risks, escalating where necessary.
  • Hands on mentality to provide best user experience.Manage and improve a proper supply chain for all IT related requirements.
  • Assist in the creation of the departmental budgets and highlighting direct cost savings, and investment opportunities that will deliver future cost savings.
  • Ensure onsite IT equipment stock levels balance the need to deliver instant stock provisioning to end users, versus overstocking and making unnecessary financial commitments.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in delivering IT support and process management through a structured approach, in a corporate environment.
  • End point knowledge (Windows, Office, Teams).
  • A good understanding of office networks (WAN, WiFi and LAN).
  • Service management tool experience – Accessing, updating, closing calls.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange.
  • IOS/IPAD device builds and post build configuration through MDM.
  • Understanding to create and manage local budgets.
  • Fluent in both Dutch and English.

• Working hybrid.
• Project length: 12 months, option to extend.
