Role: Project Manager/Bridges
Headcount: 1
Contract Length: 6 Months - Possibly extended
Location: Glasgow – On Site construction min 3 days per week
IR35: Inside
Minimum Requirement: The individual needs to a Chartered civil or structural engineer, Have Experience in Bridges & Financial management.
Security Clearance: BPSS (Basic Disclosure)

Job Spec
General Duties

• Enabling works, propping progress, co-ordination & Delivery
• Generic &bespoke propping design & delivery
• Technical support for repair & strengthening design & delivery to Major Projects
Stakeholder liaison management, e.g. GCC, SPT, Local businesses, Police, etc AiPs & Design/Check certification
• Management of Utility protection and diversions
• TTROs, s56 and Land issues
• Environmental Management & Community Benefits realisation
• Input to meetings & tech workshops
• Governance reporting
• Gateway & Peer Review support
• Post required to ensure live project design development and delivery
for duration of the project. Removing restrictions from M8 and
surrounding surface streets as safely, quickly and cost-
effectively as possible.
• Gateway Review and Peer Review support to ensure appropriate level of governance commensurate with Woodside scheme value and potential risk.
• Technical Approval review Programme management
• Including Approval in Principle (AIP) for scheme elements and
• consideration of Departures for Standard & certification.
• Overseeing the Utility diversion and protection Programme
• Environmental reporting and identifying opportunity
• For improvements as project is developed and delivered.
• Lead on project management meetings & technical
• workshops.
• Governance reporting and Investment Decision AMS Confidential reporting internally to Senior Management Team.
• Budget oversight for the M8 Woodside Project, on behalf of the M8 Bridges Special Projects Manager
