Security Engineer

For one of our customers in Switzerland, we are looking for a Security Engineer / Specialist in a permanent position.

Start: ASAP (flexible)
Location: Zurich OR St.Gallen (hybrid setup)
Volume: 80-100%
Languages: German / English

Would you like to take responsibility for the engineering, further development and operation of various IT security services? Become part of our customer's security services team and support them in these exciting tasks!

This is what you do:

•Jointly responsible for the development, optimization and further development of standardized security services.
•Collaboration in projects and implementation of orders in the field of IT security.
•Ensuring the smooth, trouble-free and efficient operation of a complex and highly available security infrastructure.
•2nd and 3rd level support (incident and problem management) as well as request fulfilment.
•Collaboration in the preparation of customer offers and the processing of tenders.
•Willingness to work occasionally on call and outside working hours.

Qualifications:

•Professional experience in the operation and further development of IT security services.
•Sound knowledge of at least one of the following topics: Web Application Firewall, Remote Access, IDS/IPS, Perimeter Security, Web Proxy, PKI.
•Experience with products and manufacturers in the IT security environment.
•Programming skills in PHP, TCL, Shellscript or similar.
•Impeccable oral and written expression in German as well as good English skills.
•Responsible and reliable personality, with strong communication skills and impeccable reputation.
•Enjoyment of new technologies and the will to educate oneself accordingly.
•Higher technical education, preferably in computer science.
