Description

We are looking for ambitious Application Security Engineers that get a drive from working in a higlly critical environment. The core of this role revolves around understanding code security, conducting code reviews in languages such as Java, C#, Python, or Go, and performing application penetration testing using tools like Burp and ZAP.

The text below will give you an impression of the hard skills that we are looking for. We can imagine that ‘expert’ experience in all the skills is a little hard. For that reason we are also interested in speaking to you in case you want to extend your existing knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience with: Conducting static and dynamic application security tests, including pen testing using ZAP/Burp and SAST tools.
  • Experience with: Performing code security reviews for Java, C#, Python, or Go applications.
  • Experience with or knowledge on: Setting up and manage build, test, and data pipelines in cloud environments.
  • Experience with: Ensuring the security of VMWare and Docker OS, as well as network configurations.
  • Nice to have experience with: Deploying applications on Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge on or worked: with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) tools like Terraform and Helm Charts.
  • Utilize Azure DevOps for pipeline deployment (advantageous).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to secure the entire application stack, including virtual machines, containers, networks, and VPNs.
  • Engage in continuous research, stay updated on emerging security threats, and contribute to open-source initiatives.

Since the environment you’ll be working in is quite new, knowledge sharing is seen as very important. So in case you have experience with standing in front of a group to share your knowledge on cyber security, that would be awesome.
