Our client's organization seeks an information security officer who can take an active role in managing information security risks. The ideal candidate must possess a profound understanding of IT security and compliance methodologies, industry standards, and a proactive attitude towards adopting and implementing security practices. Additionally, they should demonstrate an inherent drive to stay well-informed in security trends, identifying opportunities for innovative initiatives that enhance security measures.

Project Description:

  • Provide technical guidance to various stakeholders (devops teams, management, contract managers, project managers, etc.) on implementing required security measures and risk mitigation strategies within their respective domains.
  • Collaborate with the Security Consultancy & Assurance team on diverse security and compliance tasks, including periodic assessment of security controls, regulatory compliance reporting, reviewing security documentation, conducting in-depth asset reviews, threat modeling, delivering IT security training, and interpreting vulnerabilities and security incidents' impact on services and supply chain security.
  • Work closely with devops infrastructure and application teams, Risk Management, Security Operation Center, Defensive Security teams, and other security disciplines to proactively identify and implement appropriate security measures.

Requirements:

  • Preferably experienced in a financial organization.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining a comprehensive view of goals.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
  • A team player who remains supportive and adaptable to shifting priorities.
  • Self-awareness regarding strengths and areas for improvement, actively pursuing personal development, and staying updated with the latest security developments.
  • Substantial experience (+3 years) in IT and IT security, preferably holding a Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or related technical/security fields.
  • Advantageous to hold SSCP or CISSP certification. Preferred knowledge of application security, SAP, and/or cloud.
  • Experience with NIST or the DORA framework.
