Senior Java developer

Join our client's team at a leading company in the payment industry, dedicated to providing innovative solutions for secure and efficient payment processing. We are looking for a talented and motivated Java software Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

As a senior Java developer, you will be responsible for:

- Developing and maintaining high-performance and scalable software systems.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions.
- Strong experience in Java, AWS & Springboot
- Responsible for developing new applications and optimize current applications.
- Experience with Kafka, Kotlin and microservices is nice to have.
- Contributing to the design, development, and optimization of payment processing solutions.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you should have:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience in Java, AWS
- Experience with Kafka or Kotlin is a big advantage
- Previous experience within the payment industry is a significant advantage.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.


Project Details:

- Duration: 12 months ( Contract to perm)
- Work: Hybrid ( once a week to the office in Amsterdam)
- Type: Freelance/Payroll
- Location: Amsterdam
