Seeking- Senior Project Planner
12 Month Contract

Minimum requirements:
o Master’s degree in engineering or Business Management.
o 10+ year in Project Services for offshore projects
The position sits within the Project Office Management team and ultimately reports to the Project Office Manager but is expected to work closely with the Project Services Manager who is responsible for the quality of the plans. The position is initially an individual contributor but over time is expected to be the lead for a team of planners and therefore the individual needs to demonstrate leadership capabilities.
More specifically, the position:
o Provides planning and scheduling capability for the project team. Creates and maintains an appropriate hierarchy of Roadmaps and Primavera project plans. Able to perform critical path analysis and identify key levers to drive improvement opportunities.
o Identifies interactions and constraints between key project decision points and activities.
o Creates and maintains the overall project baseline plan.
o Ensures appropriate processes are in place to monitor, control, report and forecast schedule and variances
o Develops and controls the project baseline plan, implementing Management of Change where applicable.
o Interfaces with relevant project workstreams to support probabilistic schedule modelling.
o Provides project leadership with schedule benchmarking data, lessons learned and incorporates best practices from both Shareholder organisations where feasible.
o Supports project leadership by compiling ad hoc reports and analysis as required.
o Supports project assurance activities ahead of major decision points (e.g. concept selection, CfD, FID)
o Produces reports in line with the project and company reporting calendar.
o Provides team leadership to the Planning team.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience
o Able to prepare, maintain and assure project schedules using advanced planning and scheduling practices
o Understanding of probabilistic analysis of cost and schedule data and how it contributes to project investment decisions.
o Experience in offshore wind projects preferable
o Proficient in progress management.
o Experienced in managing a diverse team.
o Experienced in operating within a Joint Venture setting.
o Excellent verbal communication skills.
o Proficient in building the relationships and networks required to create a high performing team environment.
