Test engineer - Credit Analytics

Position Overview: As a Test Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and automating the test framework for our client's Credit Risk Analytics team. This is a consultant-style role where you will assess the existing situation, propose solutions, and implement a comprehensive test framework.

Key Responsibilities:.

• Collaborate with the Credit Risk Analytics team to understand their Excel-based calculator and Python back-end processes.
• Design and set up an end-to-end test framework from scratch.
• Automate test cases to ensure the accuracy and compliance of the calculator and its underlying Python code.
• Work closely with data modelers to insert formulas in Excel for compliance.
• Extract and test Python code to validate the back-end of compliance.
• Write and execute SQL queries to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
• Utilize Azure, Git, and your programming background to create a robust testing environment.
• Provide expertise in data modeling to enhance testing efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in test automation, including framework setup and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, Git, and SQL.
• Proficiency in reading Python code.
• Background in programming.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
