Position: Workplace Consultant
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 months
Location: NL 5236 NX (60%onsite/ 40% remote)

Background
The Workplace Consultant ensures a productive and seamless digital workplace by managing and improving workplace services across devices, software, and collaboration platforms. The role combines strategic planning, operational ownership, and hands-on delivery in a global enterprise environment. Responsibilities include coordinating internal stakeholders, external vendors, and outsourced partners while ensuring service stability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Tasks (independent delivery):

Own and coordinate Workplace services delivery

Manage vendors and outsourced providers, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance

Handle escalations and service performance issues

Manage Workplace technologies including end-user devices, software lifecycle, collaboration tools, and related services

Drive Workplace transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

Translate business requirements into Workplace solutions

Support implementation, adoption, and optimization of services

Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and corporate standards

Improve user experience and productivity through service enhancements
Skills
-
5–10 years of experience in Workplace Services or End-User Computing within global enterprises

Strong knowledge of modern workplace technologies such as Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Virtual Desktop, and macOS

Experience with software packaging and distribution tools

Proven vendor and outsourced service management experience

Good understanding of ITIL, SLA, and KPI management

Ability to combine strategy, operational ownership, and hands-on execution

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Customer-focused mindset with emphasis on user experience and productivity
