Background

The Workplace Consultant ensures a productive and seamless digital workplace by managing and improving workplace services across devices, software, and collaboration platforms. The role combines strategic planning, operational ownership, and hands-on delivery in a global enterprise environment. Responsibilities include coordinating internal stakeholders, external vendors, and outsourced partners while ensuring service stability, quality, and continuous improvement.

Tasks (independent delivery):

• Own and coordinate Workplace services delivery

• Manage vendors and outsourced providers, ensuring SLA/KPI compliance

• Handle escalations and service performance issues

• Manage Workplace technologies including end-user devices, software lifecycle, collaboration tools, and related services

• Drive Workplace transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

• Translate business requirements into Workplace solutions

• Support implementation, adoption, and optimization of services

• Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and corporate standards

• Improve user experience and productivity through service enhancements

Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in Workplace Services or End-User Computing within global enterprises

• Strong knowledge of modern workplace technologies such as Microsoft 365, endpoint management, Virtual Desktop, and macOS

• Experience with software packaging and distribution tools

• Proven vendor and outsourced service management experience

• Good understanding of ITIL, SLA, and KPI management

• Ability to combine strategy, operational ownership, and hands-on execution

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Customer-focused mindset with emphasis on user experience and productivity
