Your prime responsibility is to maintain the operation effectiveness of technology infrastructure and act as an intermediary between end-users and technology to ensure that business/user requirements are delivered.

Essential Duties: 
Incident management and Problem Management - manage components or assist in the resolution of escalated system issues. 
Change Management - Provide or assist in the provision of advice and subject matter expertise to Change leads
Infrastructure - Make recommendations and assist in the design and implementation of technology infrastructure solutions and
support project delivery groups to ensure the development and maintenance of effective technology infrastructure
Service delivery - Adhere to processes and procedures to provide effective and optimal solutions to issues raised by system users,
within agreed SLA timeframes.
Monitor system performance against SLAs and investigate and report any discrepancies and/or business impacts to the affected business unit

Qualifications and/or Experience Required

Tertiary qualifications in IT or related discipline, or equivalent experience

5+ years relevant IT industry experience

3+ years' experience in a complex IT infrastructure environment

ITIL certification essential

Previous experience working with Service Manager will be highly regarded

Expert analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting and consultative skills

Advanced knowledge in one or more relevant infrastructure domains

Advancing analysis, problem solving and troubleshooting and consultative skills

A good understanding of core financial services applications and products desirableSkills


Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated experience managing and building effective working relationships at all levels

Meticulous attention to detail

Ability to achieve targets within deadlines

Ability to work in a complex environment as a collaborative team player that delivers
