The Technical Support Officer is part of a team responsible for supporting and maintaining the majority of Information, Communications and Technology (ICT) infrastructure.. The team provides third level technical support and is directly responsible for the email system, Citrix environment and the design and ongoing support of the test and development environments.
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, industry qualifications such as MCSE certification and significant experience working in a comparable technical infrastructure support environment, along with ITIL certification.
Demonstrated understanding of the following:
Windows 2008 Server
Windows 2012 Server
Microsoft Exchange 2010
VMWare vSphere 5.5 (v6.5 advantageous)
CLOUD computing methodologies
Monitoring tool technologies (FireScope Stratis in place.)
Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member and the ability to input into team processes.
Demonstrated PowerShell scripting capabilities.
Experience providing second and third level support to end users and helpdesk.
