Our client is an online higher education organisation and they require a Web Analytics Specialist OR Digital Analyst to join the newly formed Digital team.
Purpose of role:
Responsible for measuring, analysing and optimising the website including traffic from campaigns, tag management, and a/b testing. It will be the single point of contact for web analytics. It will liaise with IT, sales, marketing, product, testing, design, experience and content teams.
Core skills needed:
3+ years web analytics experience including applying data-based findings to generate specific site improvements.
Use of web analytics systems such as Omniture (strong plus) or Google Analytics.
Understanding of data visualization techniques, basic website design and development
In-depth knowledge of Internet terminology, KPI creation, pathing and engagement analysis and strong testing experience are needed
Working with internal clients in the Marketing organization to understand their business needs and respond with appropriate recommendations.
Experience with on-site survey methodologies and voice of the customer analysis using tools such as OpinionLab and presenting in depth insights to varying levels of the business
