We are looking for a Designer Image Processing!
In the complex machines of our client, a lot of disciplines have to come together to achieve the best possible image print quality. It is all about imaging; customers require the print systems to match printed images to its originals perfectly. This ranges from A4 prints to prints of billboard size. Only with a smart digital print process, our client is able to realize the full potential of the product. The digital print process covers image processing, image analysis, print strategy, measurements and control to achieve perfect image quality.
As designer you work in a multidisciplinary team responsible for realizing the best digital print process by predicting, analysing and optimizing imaging performance of print systems. You apply image processing principles and latest techniques to enhance and optimize images making use of your knowledge of the specific characteristics of inkjet print heads and their artefacts.
Together with your team you translate requirements, from where you will need to design, experiment and validate. It’s a hands-on job, and to be successful in this role you understand other disciplines, understand the system and apply this knowledge to develop the necessary image processing in Matlab and control algorithms. These algorithms need to be accurate, robust and efficient enabling high quality prints.
