My client are looking for a Project Officer to join their team.

The Project Officer undertakes a range of project research, analysis, reporting, implementation and administrative activities to support the development and delivery of the Expense8 and Purchasing Card project, in line with established project plans and objectives. 

Key accountabilities: 

• Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the administration of Purchase Cards and Expense8, including policy and procedures; 
• Assist the System Administrator with daily oversight of Expense8, supporting expense reporting, expense auditing, report processing and technology; 
• Assist with monthly accounting close process to ensure timely and accurate reporting of all monthly accounting financial information related to purchasing cards; 
• Perform data analysis, supporting the PCard program 
• Assist with User Acceptance Testing of Expense8 
• Provide project and operational support, including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans 
• Update and collate documentation and records regarding relevant issues, policies and practices to ensure the delivery of projects complies with agreed project management methodology 
• Assist the project team to complete tasks and implement project plans to ensure agreed outcomes are achieved 
• Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services to support project management delivery 
• Undertake a range of administrative and project tasks to support the effective delivery of the project 
• Provide excellent customer service to all internal customers and business partners 
• Accounts Payable experience; with specific experience in expense management 
• Experience with Expense8 or Concur Technologies 
• Proficient in MS Excel 
• High-level analytical skills with exceptional follow-up and sense of urgency 
• Good organizational, time management and prioritization skills 
• Good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
