IT Service Management Specialist.
You will work closely with business partners and will have the overall responsibility for ensuring systems availability, department readiness, IT process improvement, and IT maturity.
Advise on and support the implementation of the IT maturity stream within IT and their relationship with the organization.
Define and create IT policy framework.
Undertake a maturity assessment based on COBIT 5 PAM.
Tailor best-practices in the context of the organization, i.e. apply, adjust and embed operation good governance, service management and project management practices to the benefit of the organization.
Guide and coach the embedding of a continual improvement approach, linking to the organization's risk, security, quality and procurement management approaches.
Embed CI approach in IT business-panning cycle for new financial year.
Monitor, assess, evaluate and report on IT and process goals, related to the council’s business imperatives and drivers.
Provide (certified) training in conjunction with the operational learning of IT.
Qualifications and experience
Demonstrated practical experience in developing the IT maturity of an IT department within Local Government
Demonstrated experience in facilitating business planning workshops
ITIL certification (Intermediate or Expert level), > 8 years experience
COBIT 5 Assessor certification and implementation experience
Coaching and certification experience: ITIL, COBIT 5 and PRINCE2
P3O experience: Establishing and maturing support offices
MSP and PRINCE2-Agile certification and experience
