ISO certification is retained
As a business, Michael Bailey Associates is committed to providing excellent service to its clients.
By achieving and exceeding the standards set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), we have demonstrated our commitment to quality throughout our organization.
We first achieved our ISO 9001certification in 1998, and have retained it every year since – our last assessment was in September 2013.
The ISO 9001 certification focuses on the quality and efficiency of the processes and procedures across all functions of a business. The auditor assesses how robust internal processes are against the quality standards laid out by the ISO, with the end objective of ensuring that customers will receive a consistent service in line with industry best practice.
James Furlong, Talent Acquisition Director, says “We have streamlined our processes in all areas since working to the ISO standards. All areas of the business have benefitted – from our HR practices to contract processing. The outcome is that we have improved the end to end service we provide to clients and contractors, and we’re continuing to do so.”
The certification is of particular importance to the Michael Bailey Associates Group because of the international nature of the businesses, says CEO Michael Garlick.
“ISO 9001 is an international certification, and this is crucial for us. As a group, we have clients across Europe and Asia Pacific. We wanted to implement a quality standard that would be easily recognized by clients in all regions and across all of the sectors we work in.”
The ISO 9001 certification is achieved after a rigorous assessment by a fully trained external auditor. Annual audits take place to ensure that the quality standards are adhered to.
