After a busy first 6 months of the year, the UK team headed off to a well-deserved action packed day to The Big Shoot. It was a great and somewhat competitive day experiencing clay pigeon shooting, quad bikes and even the chance to test archery skills.
After a quick lunch, the excitement and adrenaline kicked in as each team set off to start their day.
The clay pigeon shooting proved to be the most competitive, as each shooter wanted to outnumber the amount of times they could hit the clay discs than the previous person. It required immense concentration, a good eye and very rapid reactions to ensure once you’ve pulled the trigger you’ve caught your target. The activity left some people a little worse for wear as they ended up with a few bruises and a broken nail!
The archery tested our concentration, aim and our steady hand to ensure we hit the targets without flying our arrows into the woods. Some of the Londoners may have given Robin Hood a run for his money!
The quad biking though seemed to be the favourite amongst all 3 activities. Even though Britain’s unpredictable weather kicked in with heavy downpours, it didn’t deter from the excitement to drive through water splashes, muddy banks and through the dirt filled hills.
After a very thrilling day, it ended with hard-earned food and drinks whilst sharing the funniest stories of the day.
