2014 summer incentive trip to Malta
Our business depends upon the hard work, commitment and determination of our staff, traits that are embedded into the values of our organization. To reward that hard work, we have a market leading program of incentives that celebrate achievements and successes. Of these, the most prestigious events are our six-monthly weekend trips.
This summer, out top performers were taken to the beautiful island of Malta for an action-packed team building weekend. They stayed in the historic and picturesque capital of Valetta in one of the country’s top hotels. Excursions included a tour around the neighbouring island of Gozo, a catamaran trip round the island as well as fine dining and the chance to experience the surprisingly vibrant nightlife in Malta.
It’s possible for anyone in the business to win a place on the trips, and each year attendees include a mix of well established employees as well as newcomers who have been eager to do well and win a place.
Feedback from the Malta trip was excellent, and one of the common highlights was the opportunity for people to meet their colleagues from other offices:-
“Everybody who goes on the trips has earned it, so it’s a great way of celebrating our success as a team. The social side of the trip is fantastic; we are all people who like to socialize, and it’s lovely to get to know each other better and share experiences.” Lisa, Resourcer – Amsterdam
“This was my fourth trip, and there were some familiar faces and plenty of new ones. We have a lot of friendly inter-office banter, it was a real laugh. Plus, we all felt like VIPs – the hotel was amazing, the excursions were really good, the food was fantastic and the drinks were flowing.” Tom, Resourcer – London
“Recognition is a great motivator, and this is one of the ways we recognize achievements through the year. The trips are always a great success, our teams really kick back and enjoy themselves, and for the business, it’s a great way of forging closer bonds between different offices. Often after the trips, we find that people doing a similar role continue the interaction back in an office setting, resulting in new collaborations which are very healthy for our business.” Frank Grootenboer, Managing Director, Europe.
