Barcelona 2013 - Conference, Awards and Christmas Party
Once a year, colleagues from across the European offices all congregate in a European city for the annual conference and employee awards presentation followed by a spectacular Christmas Party, and this year, Barcelona was the destination.
It began with the serious stuff; the Management team kicked off an early start with a day of workshops, strategy discussions and planning led by our Founder and CEO, Mike Garlick.
The black tie event got going in the early evening, with a drinks reception at the Astoria in central Barcelona, followed by dinner and entertainment in the form of traditional Spanish guitars, singing and flamenco.
Next came the highlight of the night, the employee awards, a chance to celebrate successes throughout the year, and for teams to get behind their colleagues in a spot of friendly inter-office competition! These prestigious awards are an annual tradition that goes back over 15 years.
Our CEO presented a range of awards in recognition of outstanding performance and effort over the past 12 months. Awards included: best client service, most improved consultant and back office star.
After the Awards, the dance floor was cleared, the DJ got into position and the dancing began – we really can't say anything else, what happened in Barcelona stays in Barcelona!
