Rewards and incentives
We have a transparent rewards scheme with uncapped earning potential for all consultants.
As well as individual targets, we encourage collaboration through team and company-wide incentive programmes.
We run two well established and high profile incentives open to all European colleagues in spring and late summer, and destinations have included Dubai, New York, Malta, Barcelona, Lisbon, Ibiza and Rome. Winning a place is recognition of outstanding performance so competition is strong!
Our APAC division offices run their own local incentive programmes. The Sydney team have enjoyed skiing in Perisher, a luxury break in Port Douglas and wine tasting in NSW. Singapore and Malaysia teams usually focus on fine dining and cultural experiences.
Events and social activities
Our flagship events in Europe include an annual Team Awards night and Christmas party. The awards are presented during a black tie ceremony in a spectacular venue, and recognise significant achievements made by individuals and teams over the course of the year. We’ve partied in Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, London, Dusseldorf and many more.
Traditionally, the Sydneysiders charter a boat on the harbour for their festive treat, and the Singapore and Malaysian teams hold an event around the time of Chinese New Year.
On top of this, each team holds their own social event mid-year. We have done everything from Segway to surfing, crazy golf to theme-parks, quad-biking to skydiving. SE Asia teams generally opt for an exclusive restaurant and Sydney make a date to watch the Melbourne Cup each year, as well as running a number of other results based events.
We are keen to celebrate and recognise success in many ways throughout the year, particularly when someone has delivered a difficult project or overcome significant challenges to help their clients or teams. Recognition is a big part of our motivation, retention and internal candidate attraction strategy. From the formal awards at our end of year ceremony, to on-the-spot gifts marking milestones and a simple well done and round of applause, we aim to make sure that our team feels valued and appreciated.
We focus on creating a universal team spirit, even though our offices are spread around the globe. Internal communications are a big focus, and initiatives range from our Michael Bailey Associates ‘Team Talk’ magazine to a linked network of screens in all offices displaying information to help our teams feel included and informed.
