Role Overview:

We are seeking an Expert Azure Cloud & Infrastructure Expert to join our team in Bern office. We are searching for someone with strong DevOps capabilities and deep expertise in both Windows Server and Linux environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating secure, scalable, and highly available Azure and hybrid infrastructure solutions.

This role requires a hands-on infrastructure specialist who combines advanced Azure knowledge with strong system administration, automation, and operational excellence skills. You will work closely with customers, architects, and operations teams to modernize infrastructure, improve reliability, and drive cloud adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

· Design, implement, and maintain Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions.

· Manage and optimize core Azure services including networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.

· Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using industry-standard tools.

· Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate infrastructure and application deployments.

· Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux environments.

· Implement monitoring, logging, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.

· Ensure infrastructure security, compliance, performance, and availability.

· Support incident management, root-cause analysis, and continuous service improvement.

· Participate in architecture design and technical decision-making

· Mentor junior engineers and promote infrastructure and DevOps best practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

· Bachelor's or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field from a university or university of applied sciences, or equivalent professional experience.

· Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure in enterprise environments.

· Strong expertise in Azure networking, identity, storage, computing, and security services.

· Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

· Strong scripting and automation skills using PowerShell and/or Bash.

· Proven experience managing hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.

· Advanced Windows Server administration skills, including Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.

· Solid Linux administration experience.

· Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code

· Experience with Git and modern DevOps practices.

· Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

· Good understanding of networking, security, governance, and operational best practices.

· Swiss German and English skills at a fluent level; French is an asset.

Nice to Have:

· Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-305, AZ-700 or DevOps Engineer Expert.

· Experience in enterprise migration and modernization projects.
