Azure infra Engineer

For one of our banking clients we are seeking an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Azure networking and security components, experience deploying PaaS resources, and expertise in pipeline development. This role requires proficiency in automation, scripting, and version control to support cloud infrastructure operations and DevOps practices.

| Key Responsibilities |

Design, implement, and manage Azure networking components such as VNETs, ExpressRoute, Private Endpoints, Service Endpoints, Frontdoor, and App Gateway.
Configure and maintain Azure security features including NSGs, Firewall, RBAC, and Key Vault.
Deploy and manage Azure PaaS resources, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Storage Accounts, and App Services.
Develop and optimize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) pipelines using YAML, PowerShell, ARM templates, and Bicep.
Utilize Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline management and automation.
Maintain and enhance source control strategies using GIT.

| Preferred Qualifications |

Hands-on experience in developing data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and/or Synapse.
Strong understanding of Azure SQL and data integration techniques.
Familiarity with Self-Hosted Integration Runtimes and Shared Integration Runtimes for data movement.
Experience working with Azure Container Apps.

Strong expertise in Azure infrastructure and cloud networking.
Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) methodologies.
Solid understanding of DevOps tools and best practices.
Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Strong collaboration and communication skills.
