IT Administrator (m/f/d)

We are currently looking for an IT administrator (m/f/d) for our client in Austria.

Start: ASAP / 13.09.23
End: August 2024
Location: Graz (Austria)
Volume: 38.5 hrs/ week

Tasks (independent delivery):
• Taking care of local IT equipment of the employees (Desktop Setup, Notebooks, Phones) + Account maintenance.
• Server maintenance (ESXi Hosts, VMs, Docker Hosts + a lot of containerized applications deployed).
• Firewall, VPN, Internet uplink.
• Landline Phone maintenance.
• Wifi-Setup in the Office.
• Local wired network setup & maintenance.
• Local Backup / Disaster Recovery.
• Robotics Lab IT maintenance (Wifi, private 5G, LAN, Robots IT hardware)
• Supporting the transition of local office IT into Verizon corporate IT.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
• Script automation with at least one of these technologies: Powershell, Bash or Python - 5+ years of experience.
• Strong knowledge with macOS and Linux operating systems - 5+ years of experience.
• Experience in setting up local area networks (WiFi, LAN) - 5+ years of experience.
• DESIRED SKILLS:
• Familiar with Cloud services such as Azure(AAD) and/or AWS.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve problems using systematic troubleshooting, web KB
• searches and consultation with other members of the IT team.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
-Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology,
-Engineering or similar technical degree (also Technical upper-level secondary school ("HTL") or finished apprenticeship in a relevant field (“Lehrabschluss”) ) OR four (4) years of experience in providing technical support to end- users for computer hardware, software, and/or network related problems.
