This role focuses on leading a complex IT carve-out project within an M&A environment. You will take full ownership of the coordination and delivery across all project phases, working closely with business and IT stakeholders as well as external partners.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination and implementation of the IT carve-out based on an existing M&A concept, including planning, steering, and monitoring all project activities across timelines, resources, budget, and quality. A key part of the role is coordinating multiple IT workstreams across domains such as SAP, non-SAP applications, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, license management, process IT, security, and compliance, ensuring alignment and integration into the overall project plan.
You will act as a central interface between business, IT, and external stakeholders to ensure a consistent flow of information and smooth collaboration. In addition, you will prepare decision materials for senior management, conduct root cause analyses, and provide recommendations to resolve complex project challenges. You will independently manage project planning, milestone tracking, budget and quality control, capacity planning, and risk management, as well as deliver regular project status reports to program and senior management.
We are looking for a consultant with 5–10 years of experience in leading roles within IT transformation projects, ideally in M&A, integration, or carve-out environments. You should have a strong understanding of complex IT landscapes, including SAP, infrastructure, and enterprise applications, as well as solid knowledge of key carve-out topics such as contracts, licenses, processes, security, GDPR, and compliance.
A background in management consulting is highly desirable, along with experience working in international and cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops, and communicating effectively with senior stakeholders. A structured, analytical, and independent working style is essential.
Experience in the energy sector is considered a plus.
