About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Risk Management Consultant to support a leading organization in enhancing its IT risk controls and compliance framework. This role is not deeply technical but requires strong risk control assessment expertise, strategic advisory skills, and the ability to support management in making informed decisions.

You will work closely with domain leads, analyzing dashboards to assess key IT risks. A key part of the role is to report, consult and advise your stakeholders on focus area. You will also contribute to a short-term project related to configuration management, ensuring the organization remains compliant with regulatory requirements.

Focus:

• Conduct IT risk control assessments and provide insights to senior IT management.
• Analyze data and provide structured reports on topics related but not limited to: pen test findings, IAM processes, and more to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Act as an advisor to domain leads, supporting them in decision-making regarding IT risk controls.
• Assist in a configuration management project, reviewing system reports and ensuring compliance with regulatory thresholds.
• Leverage audit experience to ensure IT compliance and best practices are upheld.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in IT Risk Management, IT Audit, or IT Security Consulting (5+ years preferred).
• Strong understanding of IT risk control frameworks and assessment methodologies.
• Ability to advise and consult with senior stakeholders on IT risk-related topics.
• Experience with configuration management systems and reporting tools.
• Conceptual knowledge of servers, application layers, and container security.
• Project management experience with the ability to structure and drive IT risk initiatives.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex risk topics for decision-makers.
