Project: Automation of MS Project License Assignment

Project Overview

For an ongoing digitalization project, we are looking for an experienced consultant to support the automation of Microsoft Project license assignments.

The goal is to implement an integrated solution between:

• ServiceNow (workflow & request platform)
• SoftwareOne Portal (license management)

The focus is on optimizing and automating SAM processes as well as ensuring seamless system integration.

Tasks

• Analyze and optimize existing license management processes (AS-IS / TO-BE)
• Design and implement automated workflows in ServiceNow
• Support the integration of ServiceNow with the SoftwareOne Portal
• Contribute to the technical architecture design (API-based connections)
• Ensure SAM compliance and best practices
• Advise on Microsoft licensing models (especially MS Project)
• Support testing, go-live, and stabilization

Experience

Must-have:

• Solid experience in Software Asset Management (SAM)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft licensing models (M365 / MS Project)
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (e.g., ITSM, SAM, workflow design)
• Experience in system integration & API connections (REST)
• Understanding of licensing processes and automation

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with the SoftwareOne Portal
• Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform / Azure integration
• Experience with IAM / Entra ID
• Certifications in SAM or ServiceNow
