Technical Lead – Full Stack (Python) (m/w/d)

Location: Zaventem / Mechelen, Belgium
Contract: 12 months
Work Model: 5 days onsite
Language: French required

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead / Development Team Lead to guide a team of 7 developers working on a scalable product platform.
This role is primarily about technical leadership rather than pure development. You will help define architecture, review design documents, guide technical decisions, and ensure high standards for clean, maintainable code.
The platform is built primarily with Python, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Docker and VMware, within a stable infrastructure, but there is flexibility to evolve the technology stack in the future.

Key responsibilities

Lead and mentor a development team of 7 engineers
Define and review architecture and technical designs
Guide technology choices and development best practices
Promote clean code, efficiency and strong engineering standards
Help build a scalable product that can be customised for client needs
We are looking for someone who
Has experience as a Technical Lead or Development Lead
Is passionate about improving code quality and team performance
Can mentor engineers of different experience levels
Enjoys solving inefficiencies and improving processes
Speaks fluent French
