WMS Business Expert – Warehouse Management

Location: Kortrijk, West Flanders, Belgium / Hybrid working.

Contract: Permanent, Full-time

Languages: Dutch/Flemish & English – MUST HAVE

We are looking for experienced Business Consultants specialising in WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) to join an established Operations & Consulting team.

We are hiring at Senior and Medior / Junior level.

The Role:

You will be responsible for delivering WMS solutions for logistics service providers across Belgium and the Netherlands. You will analyse warehouse processes, translate business requirements into functional solutions, configure systems and support implementations through to go-live and hypercare.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analyse warehouse processes including inbound, storage, picking, VAS, outbound, stock control and scanning.
• Translate customer requirements into functional WMS solutions.
• Configure WMS systems and perform fit-gap analysis.
• Support testing, data migration and go-live.
• Provide customer training and post-go-live support.
• Support pre-sales activities, demos and WMS assessments.
• Work closely with customers, project managers, developers, product teams and other consultants.

Requirements

• 3+ years' experience in WMS implementation and/or warehouse operations.
• Strong understanding of warehouse processes and WMS.
• ERP experience is essential.
• Strong affinity with software, system configuration, master data and functional specifications.
• Customer-facing implementation experience from analysis through to go-live.
• Experience with data migration and EDI/API integrations.
• Experience with warehouse scanning, labelling and handheld devices.
• Professional fluency in Dutch/Flemish and English.
• Driving licence.

Desirable

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central / Navision experience.
• SAP or other major ERP experience.
• TMS / transport or forwarding knowledge.
• Pre-sales and demonstration experience.
• French language skills.

Senior candidates should have experience independently leading end-to-end WMS implementations.

Medior / Junior candidates should be capable of independently managing defined workstreams such as analysis, configuration, testing and training, with progression towards senior responsibility.
